Frequently Asked Questions
We deliver flowers Tuesday to Friday, and Saturdays only to Papamoa and the Mount. Currently there is no delivery service on public holidays or for rural deliveries.
If nobody is home and we are able to leave the flowers in safe location, this is what we will do.
If we are unable to leave the flowers in a safe location, then your order will be returned to us. The recipient is then welcome to collect the order from our Daisy May caravan or we can re-deliver the flowers for you (please note that an additional courier charge may apply).
Our website utilises SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to protect your transaction and credit card details. SSL is the industry standard for the transmission of credit card details. SSL technology provides 128 bit encryption of your order details which effectively scrambles all your data so that it cannot be read when it is being transmitted over the internet.
We do not store your credit card details once the transaction has been completed.
The first 24 hours is the most crucial period, affecting the durability of your flowers as flowers absorb half the water they require to survive during this time. We recommend you re-cut all stems approximately 2-3cm and on an angle. Keep flowers in a cool place and away from draughts, heaters, televisions and microwaves and also away from fruit (as they release a gas which accelerates the ageing process of flowers).
